MALEGAON CAMP

Dr. Prashant V. Hiray

General Secretary

Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir, Malegaon Camp owes its existence to the inspiration, pioneering work, and farsightedness of its founder, Late Karmaveer Bhausaheb Hiray, a staunch freedom fighter, one of the pioneers in forming Maharashtra state and the co- operative movement in Nashik District, an educationist, and Ex-Revenue Minister of the then Bombay province. He founded two well-known educational trusts in Nashik District, viz., "Adivasi Seva Samitee" in 1945 and "Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandir" in 1952. The major objective of these organizations was to provide educational facilities to the masses from all spheres of society.

Mahatma Gandhi Vidyamandirโ€™s Samajshri Prashantdada Hiray College of Pharmacy is a professional higher education college that started its journey toward becoming a premier center of pharmacy education in the year 2006.

The college is committed to imparting knowledge and skills among graduates and fostering a culture of inclusivity and values. The college makes efforts to develop students into competent and confident professionals who can handle the ever-changing challenges of the healthcare sector while upholding moral and ethical values.

The college endeavors to train students on the significance of quality in healthcare and achieves this by ensuring excellence at all operational levels, including education, teaching, learning, evaluation, development, and administration.
