Rules of Conduct

  • Every student must obtain an identity card upon admission, issued by the library. Students must carry their identity card at all times and present it upon request.
  • A minimum of 80% attendance in both theory and practical classes is mandatory to appear for sessional and end-semester examinations.
  • Students must attend lectures, practicals, seminars, group discussions, guest lectures, and other college-organized events on or off-campus beyond regular college hours. Attendance is compulsory.
  • Absence without prior permission from the class teacher will be considered a breach of discipline and may result in strict action.
  • Ragging in any form, within or outside the college, is strictly prohibited under The Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999. Violators will be prosecuted as per the law.
  • Complaints about ragging should be submitted in writing to the head of the institute. If found true, the accused student will be suspended, and the complaint will be forwarded to the police station for further action.
  • Any unfair means or malpractice during examinations will result in strict action under the Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractice Act, 1982. The candidate may also be disqualified from the examination as per University Ordinance No.9, Circular No.396 of 2002.
  • The use of tobacco, smoking, and alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited in the hostel and college campus.
  • Students found indulging in any anti-national activities that violate government laws will face immediate expulsion from the college.
  • All students must maintain discipline and adhere to the college's code of conduct within the premises.
  • Students must follow the designated dress code decided by the college.
  • The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited during lectures and practical sessions.
  • Students residing in the hostel must comply with hostel rules, including curfew timings, fee payments, and maintaining proper discipline.
  • Students must abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the university, college management, and administration.
  • Any issues not explicitly covered in the above rules will be addressed by the College Authority as deemed appropriate.
